Dr Nahian Chowdhury

Biography
Dr Nahian Chowdhury is a research fellow at Neuroscience Research Australia and conjoint lecturer in the School of Psychology, UNSW. He is also a registered psychologist with AHPRA. Nahian’s research focuses on the use of Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and Electroencephalography (EEG) to understand the brain mechanisms that cause pain. His goal is to identify biomarkers for pain that can used diagnostically or which can be used as targets for therapies such as non-invasive brain stimulation.
